Prepare the substrate
Check the flatness and load capacity of the substrate. Ensure the bonding layer (adhesive, cement screed or sand) is ready, level and flat.
Choose the model and suction pad
For tiles up to 200 kg choose GECO 200 with the 600×375 mm suction pad. For tiles up to 300 kg – GECO 300 with the 660×500 mm pad.
Connect GECO to power and start
Plug the device into a 230 V / 50 Hz outlet. Start the vacuum turbine with one button.
Apply suction to the tile
Two operators lift the device and press the suction pad flat against the top face of the tile. GECO creates 35 kPa vacuum and grips the tile in 0.5 seconds.
Transfer and precise positioning
Safely carry the tile to the target position. Adjustable handles allow ergonomic manoeuvring even in confined spaces. The safety chain prevents accidental drops.
Release the load and lay the tile
Press the release lever – the tile is released in 0.3 seconds. Check level, press the tile into position and adjust the joints. GECO is ready for the next tile.
