Where does the kerb suction plate excel?

Building pedestrian and road edges

The suction plate speeds up and improves precision when laying kerbs along roads, paths, and squares.

Work near retaining walls

90–180° angle adjustment enables work in locations where conventional equipment falls short.

Laying along walls and edges

The operator sets the working angle to suit site conditions – no adapters or extensions needed.

Finishing work

Where precision and consistent placement are critical – the plate minimises mechanical contact with precast surfaces.

Mounting the suction plate on the GECO 200 lifter

1

Invert the lifter

Carefully place the GECO 200 lifter in an inverted position, bottom side up, on a stable surface.

2

Clean the seal

Before assembly, clean the seal (element 13). It must be dry and free of contamination – this ensures a proper seal.

3

Position the suction plate

Place the suction plate (element 7) on the mounting plate (element 3). The seal must be positioned between them.

4

Tighten the screws

Fasten the suction plate with ISO 7380 M8×20 screws (element 14) to a torque of 23 Nm.

Tip: The operator can change the attachment independently in a few minutes, without specialist tools.

How to use the kerb suction plate

5

Set the working angle

Adjust the plate angle between 90–180° to suit the installation conditions – alongside a wall, retaining wall, or pavement edge.

6

Activate and lift the kerb

Activate the lifter with the button. Lower the device onto the kerb – the element is automatically gripped by the suction plate.

7

Position and release suction

Move the kerb to the target position, then press the lever next to the handle to release the suction and set down the element.
